Irish President The Honorable Catherine Connolly delivered a pointed message on war and genocide after meeting U.S. President Donald Trump in Dublin. Connolly stressed that the normalization of war and genocide “can never be accepted,” highlighting Ireland’s history of conflict and its commitment to peace. The remarks come as Connolly, a longtime Trump critic, continues to challenge his policies on the Middle East and Gaza.
