Iran has reportedly carried out another missile attack against Kurdish Iranian opposition groups in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, with positions in Sulaymaniyah targeted and explosions reported in Halabja and Sharazur. The latest incident follows a September 7 Iranian drone attack on a Komala camp in Sulaymaniyah Governorate. The attacks come as Iraq discusses the disarmament of Iranian-backed militias and the United States prepares to withdraw its remaining forces and defence systems from Iraq.
