Unseen footage shared by CNN’s Inside Politics captures a phone call between late US Senator Lindsey Graham and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which Graham says he will try to persuade President Donald Trump to “join with y’all in Lebanon.”
The footage also captures Netanyahu acknowledging the Resistance’s deterrent capabilities, in remarks that contrast with his public rhetoric. Speaking to Graham, Netanyahu says: “If we tell Hezbollah that we’re going all the way, we threaten them. But if we actually do it, then they have no reason not to go all the way against us”.
